Anna and Jeff’s beautiful fairy woodland wedding in Sotogrande, Spain

March 12, 2016

How about getting hitched right next to a spectacular polo course in Sotogrande, Spain? Among beautiful trees and loving family and friends? And also casually turning the venue into a fairy woodland?

There was something very cinematographic and timeless about Anna and Jeff’s wedding. Maybe because of Anna’s Italian roots!

I loved their spontaneity and just how easy it was to photograph everyone naturally. I normally try to be as unobtrusive as I can but, to be honest, these guys didn’t seem to notice me anyway. They simply had too much fun with their family and guests.

As a wedding photographer who likes to focus on the candid, natural side of things and I could not have a better experience.

I love when a wedding has an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere with casually fashionable flair. Laura from Reviva Weddings delivered creating a beautiful, romantic wedding decor. With lots of pink and white flowers as centerpieces, golden cutlery and adding a bit of sparkle here and there on the table tops, La Cancha II, the wedding venue, turned into an elegant space, filled with candlelight.

Their wedding ceremony took place in a beautiful spot full of trees and right next to the polo course and you could not ask for a greener place. BUT there was even with a beautiful wedding ceremony arch made of gypsophila. The handwritten wood boards and signage with funny questions brought back memories of Alice in Wonderland.

Fi from Sweet Things by Fi created a dessert table that was dangerously tempting, but I promise all I did was just photographing it! Again.
