I have to say I love Scottish weddings in Spain. There’s something about the energy levels there. Maybe it’s a mixture of the Scottish energy with the Spanish sun 🙂
And this wedding was one of the most emotional ones to date. As a Marbella wedding photographer, I always look for any signs of real emotions, so this was a real treat. So many tears and laughs! Due to their family history, it was not always easy to hold back tears but I can tell you, they were happy tears of victory and love. The whole wedding was a celebration of love conquering obstacles.
Rebecca and Paul decided to get married in one of the most popular wedding venues around Marbella, Cortijo de los Caballos. Their ceremony was a beautiful blessing that combined Spanish and Scottish customs, beautifully intertwined, with their wedding venue’s beautiful gardens as a backdrop.
It was extra special for me to meet, amongst the bridal squad, one of my past clients, Jenna (check out her beautiful wedding album ), who also got married at the Cortijo de los Caballos a couple of years earlier. Such a nice surprise!
